LJA Marketing (Georgia) invites a motivated intern to assist our growing team. You will support proposals, graphics, events, and campaigns, helping elevate the company’s brand and business.

Our marketers turn complex architecture and construction details into compelling client materials. Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing/Communications/Graphics, you’ll work with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Adobe Creative Suite to produce clear, on-brand content and stay organized under tight

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop).
• Ability to work under deadlines and collaborate with multiple contributors.

Responsibilities

• Assist pursuit efforts with proposals, marketing leads and client materials.
• Organize and update resumes, project descriptions, fact sheets and boilerplate language.
• Proofread for spelling, grammar, clarity and brand consistency.
• Create graphics, layouts and visuals for proposals and brochures.
• Maintain content libraries and templates for quick access under deadlines.
• Scout procurement sources to track upcoming solicitations.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As an Intern at LJA Marketing, you will be responsible for supporting our growing Georgia team, whether it be through proposals, graphics, events or campaigns, professional marketers are always helping to elevate the company’s brand and business. Our marketing team helps tell the stories behind meaningful architecture, engineering and construction projects, turning technical expertise into clear, compelling materials that help our teams win work.

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:

• Assisting pursuit efforts with proposal and marketing leads to help plan, develop and produce qualifications, proposals, interview materials and other client-facing deliverables.
• Helping keep our marketing content sharp, current and easy to find, including staff resumes, project descriptions, fact sheets, firm profiles, boilerplate language and pursuit-related collateral.
• Putting fresh eyes on materials to check spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency, brand alignment and compliance with solicitation requirements.
• Bringing ideas to life through graphics, layouts, templates and visuals for proposals, presentations, brochures and other marketing materials.
• Keeping marketing databases, libraries and templates organized so the team can quickly find the right content when deadlines are moving fast.
• Scouting procurement opportunities through online portals, agency websites and industry sources to help the team stay ahead of what’s next.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphics, or a related field.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams, with familiarity in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop.
• Self-starter/Initiative-taker with a great attitude and ability to work well with others and collaborate with multiple contributors.
• The ability to work under strict deadlines and manage changing priorities to meet schedules and demand.
• The ability to research procurement sources to track and/or obtain current and upcoming solicitations.

IDEALLY, YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE:

• Previous internship, coursework or project experience related to the AEC industry, professional services marketing, proposal development, graphic design or business development support.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Canva, CRM databases, social media content, event support, photography or visual storytelling.
