Responsibilities

  • Familiarize with real estate principles and rights of way related to energy assets.
  • Assist with estimating, budgeting, reporting, renewals, permitting, documentation, title research, GIS/mapping, and project development.

Summary

We are seeking a motivated, dynamic, personable, and professional Land & Right-of-Way Intern for our summer program to join our team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • The main objective for the intern is to become familiar with real estate principals, rules and regulations pertaining to rights of way and other land rights associated with the gathering, processing, transmission and storage assets in our energy portfolio, gaining experience in acquiring, maintaining and operating those rights to protect the assets.
  • Responsibilities will vary but may include estimating, budgeting, reporting, administrative requests, renewals, permitting, document preparation and redlining, damage settlements, title research, GIS/mapping, project development and management.
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program majoring in business, energy management, real estate or pre-law disciplines and at a minimum completion of sophomore level courses.
  • General requirements include self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies.
  • Above average GPA
