Job summary

Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I. invites an Application Security Intern for a 12-week program in Milwaukee, WI. You will gain hands-on experience supporting the cybersecurity program and learn how security integrates into the software development lifecycle.

You will work with security professionals and developers to identify, assess, and reduce application security risks. You will assist with assessments, use automated tools, review findings, and collaborate to promote secure coding

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.).
• Basic understanding of software development and web applications.
• Interest in cybersecurity and application security.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Preferred candidates will be entering Junior or Senior year status in Fall 2027.
