AriensCo in Brillion, WI is seeking an Human Resource Intern to assist with employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and policy administration. This part-time role is based at our Brillion location and offers hands-on HR experience across multiple functions.

The internship may extend through summer 2027 and provides exposure to Workday, onboarding processes, and HR communications. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college in HR or related fields.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Familiarity with social media and digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to follow instructions and ask questions for clarity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, yet independently when needed.
  • Demonstrated integrity and confidentiality in all matters.
  • Demonstrated initiative, self-starter, and a strong desire to learn and receive feedback/coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the go-to for Brillion operations-based employees.
  • Respond timely to employee inquiries on policies, benefits, Workday, badge access, etc.
  • Assist with the exit process for Brillion hourly employees including exit interviews and related tasks.
  • Assist with new employee orientation and coordination with presenters.
  • Create and post company-wide announcements including promotions and retirements.
  • Create flyers and other communications for the Brillion campus.
  • Maintain employee bulletin boards and HR self-service areas.
  • Create new and replacement badges and assist with Win-Pak software.
  • Support hourly recruiting through phone screens, on-site interviews, drug screens, and background checks.
  • Schedule company-wide meetings and coordinate facilities and transportation needs.
  • Collaborate with admin team to execute company activities.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Join us as a Human Resource Intern where you will work help with a variety of different tasks such as employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and policy administration. This immersive experience is located at our Brillion, WI location and will help you build valuable skills within different area of human resources.

This position is currently available and can be part-time while the student is attending school. This opportunity may extend through summer 2027.

THE DAY TO DAY…
  • Serves as the go-to for Brillion operations-based employees
  • Respond timely to employee walk-in, email and phone inquiries which may include company policies and procedures, benefits, Workday, badge access, etc.
  • Assists with the exit process for Brillion hourly-based operation employees including conducting exit interviews, creating, and sending term letters, completing term checklists
  • Assist with new employee orientation by preparing materials, compliance and coordination with other participating presenters
  • Create and post company-wide announcements including promotions and retirements
  • Create flyers and other forms of communication for use across the Brillion campus
  • Maintain employee bulletin boards and HR self-service areas
  • Create new and replacement badges for all employees and serve as a go-to for Win-Pak software.
  • Help with hourly recruiting efforts which may include coordinating and/or conducting phone screens, participating in on-site interviews, administering pre-employment drug screens and conducting pre-employment background checks
  • Schedule and coordinate company-wide, special team meetings, reserves and prepares facilities and transportation needs
  • Work closely with admin team to execute company activities

The Qualifications…
  • Must be enrolled as a student at an accredited college studying toward an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar
