Sunoco LP seeks a detail‑oriented GIS Intern in San Antonio to support pipeline and midstream GIS initiatives.
You will assist with creating and editing GIS data, map pipeline inspection data, develop cartographic products, and integrate GPS data, working with ArcGIS Online and Portal.
Qualified students enrolled in GIS/Geography programs with a 3.0+ GPA, proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and Excel, and strong communication and teamwork will thrive in this paid internship starting May 2027.
Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven GIS Intern to support our Geographic Information Systems (GIS) initiatives in the Midstream Oil & Gas sector. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience applying geospatial tools in pipeline operations, asset tracking, and regulatory compliance. You’ll work closely with our GIS, engineering, and operations teams to support mapping and data management needs across a range of infrastructure projects.
