Job summary

Sunoco LP is seeking a twelve-week paid internship beginning May 2026 for students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs with graduation expected in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. You will gain hands-on experience on high-impact projects, access to senior leadership, and the chance to work in a fast-paced energy environment across departments and locations based on interview preferences.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college and open to all degrees.
• Preferably junior status.
• Above average GPA required.
• Able to write database queries using SQL.
• Experience with data cleaning in R or Python (pandas, dplyr).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership’s midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership’s fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.

This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2026. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027

During your internship you will have direct access to senior leadership within the organization as well as the opportunity to work on high-impact strategic projects in addition to your core departmental responsibilities. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in learning about the oil & gas industry in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment. • Experience with data cleaning in either the R or Python programming languages using packages such as `dplyr` and `pandas`.
