Job summary

Tallgrass offers an internship in the Flow Assurance team within the Project Management Engineering Department in Houston. You will participate in advanced hydraulic and flow assurance simulations for decarbonization and clean energy initiatives, with mentorship and exposure to real-world projects.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in mechanical, chemical, or petroleum engineering with expected graduation 2026–2028.
• Basic knowledge of fluid flow and thermodynamics.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn to use hydraulic and fluid property calculation software with mentorship from the Flow Assurance Team.
• Assist Flow Assurance Engineers with data gathering for simulations.
• Post-process simulation results and prepare presentations/reports.
• Attend trainings/webinars as needed.
