Job summary

Delta Air Lines is seeking accounting interns to join our Financial Reporting team at the Atlanta world headquarters for the Summer 2027 semester. As an intern, you will gain corporate experience through on‑the‑job training, contribute to the preparation of financial statements, conduct technical accounting research, and support initiatives that improve processes and automate tasks.

Qualified students must be enrolled full‑time in an undergraduate accounting program and be able to work onsite

• Must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate accounting program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher (4.0 scale).
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting / CPA track.
• Must be able to work onsite in Atlanta, GA for the summer.
• Available to work full-time May–August 2027.
• Internship is educational and does not guarantee a full-time offer.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Delta Air Lines is seeking accounting interns to work in our Financial Reporting department located in our Atlanta world headquarters during the Summer 2027 semester. As an accounting intern, you will gain corporate experience and develop new skills through on-the-job training and exposure to preparation of financial statements, technical accounting research, and initiatives related to process improvements and automation.

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4-year academic institution
• At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale
• In pursuit of a bachelor's degree in accounting / CPA track or similar
• Must be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the internship
• Must be available to work on a full-time basis from May-August 2027
• Students cannot take courses (online or in-person) while working as an intern
• This Intern role is for educational and professional experience only and does not guarantee a full-time offer Delta Air Lines upon graduation
• Candidate must be able to present themselves professionally and effectively communicate with various levels of leadership
• Candidate is team-oriented and highly supportive of continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong organizational, project management and verbal/written communication skills are essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis
• Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
