Job summary

Brevard Public Schools in Viera, FL is seeking an INTERN-F&N SERVICES to learn all aspects of cafeteria operation and management.

This position supports the Food & Nutrition Services department and provides hands-on exposure to daily food service activities at the site located at 2700 Judge Fran Jamieson, Viera. The role runs for 10 months with 8 hours per day and begins as available.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years' experience in school food service or related work.
• Satisfactory score on test administered by school District.
• Completion of courses: Introduction to Brevard School Food Service, Equipment Use and Care, Quantity Foods, and Organization and Management within one year of appointment.
• Valid Florida Driver's license.
