PGA TOUR, Inc. in Florida invites applicants for an internship covering golf tournament and event operations. The program provides hands-on exposure to event setup, vendor coordination, and logistics management within a dynamic sports environment.

Students with education in sports management or related fields will gain practical experience in daily operations, inventory control, and data management while supporting a multi-faceted event team during the December 2026–March 2027 program dates.

Formación

• Educational experience in sports management, marketing, or business.
• Prior exposure to golf tournaments or sports event operations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Professional image and teamwork are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Work with the Operations Manager and Event Services Manager in the set up and production of the event, including the building, tear down and maintenance of facilities for the event.
• Work directly with various vendors and volunteer committees on coordination of the tournament and daily operations.
• Responsible for coordinating golf carts, office trailers, communication equipment, soft drink and water distribution, and other vendors as assigned.
• Develop and maintain new and existing databases or spreadsheets related to vendors, equipment, and other on-site event plans
• Order, receive, inventory and stock items relative to the successful operation of the event.
• Oversee several key areas of the event during event week.
• Special projects or other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Educational experience in sports management, marketing, business
