Job summary

Gray AES in Lexington, KY is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will assist design and analysis activities under supervision, focusing on lighting, power distribution, grounding, and related electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design interior lighting, exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security systems.
• Document calculations reflecting design compliance with code and client-specific design requirements.
• Perform quality control reviews of documents including plans, specifications, and design calculations.
• Work with Project Managers to ensure that the project schedule is met and that complete documents are provided for each submission.
• Review contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals.
