Job summary

Gray AES in Atlanta, GA is offering a Summer 2027 Electrical Engineering Intern position in our office. You will assist design teams with lighting, power distribution, and coordination on active projects while learning industry practices.

This internship emphasizes collaboration, hands-on experience with Revit, and communication across project teams. Candidates pursuing a B.S. in Electrical Engineering will gain real-world exposure in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
• Revit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design interior lighting, exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security systems.
• Document calculations reflecting design compliance with code and client-specific design requirements.
• Perform quality control reviews of documents including plans, specifications, and design calculations.
• Work with Project Managers to ensure that the project schedule is met and that complete documents are provided for each submission.
• Review contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals.
• Other duties as assigned.
