Acxiom in Conway, Arkansas is offering an Accounting Internship starting January 11, 2027. You will assist with data validation, billing tasks, and reconciling contractual obligations while gaining exposure to GAAP and financial processes.

This paid internship requires 40 hours/week in summer/breaks and 20–25 hours/week during the semester, with hands-on training in data systems and a focus on accuracy, analysis, and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with billing, research, and collections of customer invoices.
• Ensure data is correctly recorded in financial systems (e.g., Workday).
• Contribute to small ad hoc projects and process documentation.
• Support compliance with controls and policies and collaborate to meet deadlines.

Internship details:

• This internship opportunity will begin January 11th, 2027.
• This internship will be in Conway, AR.
• 40 hours/week work dedication during summer and breaks, 20-25/week during the semester
• Anticipated graduation date between May 2027 - December 2027.
• Applicants for this internship position with Acxiom in the U.S. must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Acxiom (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (CPT/OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status)

What you will do:

• Audit and validate data and research to resolve problems with data.
• Review customer invoices.
• Read, understand, and communicate contractual obligations related to timely payments and reporting to data contributors.
• Assist with billing, research, and collections of customer invoices.
• Utilize and ensure data is recorded correctly in data / financial systems (i.e., Workday).
• Assist with small ad hoc projects.
• Ensure compliance of controls and policies
• Work closely with team members to meet deadlines.
• Maintain process documentation.
• Provide continuous improvement to standardize and streamline processes.
• Participate in required training to acquire needed knowledge & skills.
• Manage time, responsibilities, and priorities effectively with emphasis on your contribution.

What you will need:

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting.
• Proficiency in key tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Exposure to GAAP, financial concepts and revenue recognition concepts.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
