Job summary

EMC invites you to join a paid summer internship in one of our branch claims departments. You’ll assist the claims team in investigation, negotiation and disposition of minor multi-line claims while learning EMC culture, processes and products.

You’ll have opportunities to network with executives, connect with a mentor, explore other departments and volunteer in the community, with the goal of transitioning to regular full-time positions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a business major with junior year completed.
• Interest in property casualty insurance career.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

Summer paid internship working in one of EMC's branch claims departments

• Assists the claims team in the investigation, negotiation and disposition of minor multi-line claims
• Learns EMC culture, business processes and products
• Gains an understanding of the insurance claims process

Education & Experience:

• Business major
• Completion of junior year preferred
• Interest in property casualty insurance career
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
