Job summary

EMC Insurance offers a Twelve‑week Summer 2027 paid internship across our Complex/Specialty Claims Departments. Interns will participate in training, job shadowing, and complete special projects to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry.

This role is eligible to work from home anywhere in the United States, reflecting EMC’s flexible internship program and strong focus on mentorship, development, and potential for full‑time conversion after completion.

Essential Functions:

• Twelve‑week Summer 2027 paid internship working in EMC’s Complex/Specialty Claims Departments
• Participates in training and job shadowing claims processes
• Completes special projects

Education & Experience:

• Completion of Junior year, Business, insurance or related major
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to work independently
• Naturally curious with strong investigative skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Analytical ability to solve problems
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Copilot

The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either the $19.50-$23.00 range. A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
