Job Description: The Nevada State University Athletics Department is seeking dedicated interns to assist with the daily operations of our athletic programs.

Core Responsibilities

This position provides hands‑on experience in collegiate athletics operations and the opportunity to work closely with staff and student athletes in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be in good academic standing and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must be enrolled as a degree seeking student with a minimum of 6 credits in the current or upcoming semester at Nevada State
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment‑related visas)
  • Majoring or minoring in a relevant degree program for the duties/responsibilities assigned for any internship positions applying to

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong writing and storytelling abilities
  • Comfortable conducting both planned and impromptu interviews
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Basic graphic design, videography and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Interest in higher education marketing
  • Experience with social media analytics reporting
Work Hours

This position will work 10-19.5 hours per week. Student employees can work up to 19.5 hours per week.

Hourly Rate

$12.00 per hour
