Job summary

Cagayan State University in Boise, Idaho is seeking a software test engineer to develop, debug, and support test programs for new product introductions through high-volume manufacturing. You will write test programs in C++ and Python and use AI tools to boost debugging, data analysis, and productivity.

Collaborate with Product Engineering, Fab, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to define next-generation design-for-test capabilities and to make data-driven coverage decisions that balance test time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Understanding of R/L/C concepts, digital systems, logic gates, and CMOS operation.
• Intermediate or advanced programming skills in C++ or Python.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and data analytics.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and support test programs from NPI through high-volume manufacturing.
• Write test programs and scripts in C++ and Python.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance software development, debugging, data analysis, and productivity.
• Contribute to defining next-generation design-for-test capabilities.
• Analyze test data and use AI-enabled methods to guide coverage decisions.
• Balance test time objectives with yield and quality.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Fab, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
