Job summary

Mohegan Sun in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a marketing promotions professional to drive casino-wide campaigns and events. You will coordinate promotions with internal departments and vendors, plan events, and ensure adherence to brand guidelines.

This role also involves budgeting, sponsorship fulfillment, social media branding support, and assisting the corporate team with marketing initiatives during festivals and other special events.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal departments to determine promotions, events and entertainment needs.
• Initiate and track requests with internal departments and vendors to fulfill needs.
• Plan and execute casino-wide promotions.
• Review and proofread marketing materials for content accuracy, grammar and brand compliance.
• Plan and execute special events including festivals, Party on the Patio, New Year’s Eve and entertainment events.
• Assist with budget planning and vendor contract processes.
• Support sponsorship fulfillment and property-wide marketing efforts.
• Assist Mohegan and corporate team with social media branding efforts.

Job Duties

• Responsibilities will include working with all internal departments to determine, promotions, event, and entertainment needs
• Initiates and track requests with internal departments and vendors to fulfill needs
• The planning and execution of casino wide promotions
• Reviews and proofreads all Marketing material for accuracy of content, grammar, and brand guidelines
• The planning and execution of special events including, festivals, Party on the Patio, New Year's Eve, guest giveaways, and property entertainment events
• Budget planning and vendor contract process
• Assist in sponsorship fulfillment
• Tenant and property wide marketing efforts
• Assist Mohegan and corporate team in Social Media branding efforts

Minimum Qualifications

Must possess excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment. Must be able to lift and move 30+ pounds. Promotes superior guest service. Must be able to work various shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends.
