Job summary

Schneider National seeks experienced intermodal drivers to haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis. This 100% no-touch operation includes drop-and-hook where applicable and requires navigating rail yards across IA, IL, IN, MI and WI.

You will earn mileage and load pay plus hourly pay on duty, with a generous sign-on bonus paid over the first year, plus paid orientation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Tanker and HazMat endorsements preferred.
• Residence within 30 miles of Gary, IN.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• 100% no-touch freight, 50% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards across IA, IL, IN, MI and WI.
