Job summary

Schneider National is seeking CDL A intermodal drivers to haul freight containers on company-owned chassis. Most work is night shifts with 99% no-touch freight and drop-and-hook operations, in yards across MD, PA, VA and WV.

Drivers can earn a $10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced drivers or $2,500 for inexperienced drivers, paid over 12 months in the first year. Schneider offers paid orientation, PTO, holiday pay, and up to 3% annual bonus on gross pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Night driving mandatory on this account.
• HazMat endorsement and Tanker endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Residence within 50 miles of Harrisburg, PA is expected.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Drive in and out of railyards within MD, PA, VA and WV.
• Operate in a predominantly night-shift environment.
