Job summary

CSX Intermodal Terminals, Inc. at Annapolis Junction seeks a Terminal Supervisor to support the Terminal Manager in all terminal operations. You will supervise crews, coordinate loading/unloading, enforce PPE, and ensure a high-quality product delivered without damage.

You will also manage safety briefings, track maintenance needs, and collaborate with office staff to maintain schedules and insure policy adherence across CSX operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of railroad industry regulations and safety practices required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; ability to supervise crews.

Responsibilities

• Assist Terminal Manager in daily terminal operations.
• Supervise crew; conduct safety briefings; ensure PPE compliance.
• Oversee loading and unloading to ensure damage-free product.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with office staff.
• Perform equipment checks on ramps and shuttle vehicles.
• Assist in staffing planning and schedule management.
• Implement training for new hires and ongoing training for staff.
• Ensure periodic inspections and CSX policy adherence.
