Job summary

CSX Intermodal Terminals, Inc. (CSXIT) at Annapolis Junction is seeking Intermodal Service Employees to safely place customer freight for movement on trains from origin to destination within the TDSI network.

The role includes vehicle-handling support and inventory control for railcar operations, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Candidates must pass drug and background screens; cannabis cards are not accepted.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, secure, and inventory freight on railcars and related equipment.
• Inspect and document equipment condition and report damages prior to unloading.
• Operate and transfer various motor vehicles on/ off railcars with ladders and clearances.
• Raise, lower, and move bridge plates, decks, and ramps at elevated heights.
• Open and close end doors on multi-level railcars weighing over 1,000 lbs.
