Job summary

CSX Intermodal Terminals, Inc. is seeking a Terminal Supervisor to assist the Terminal Manager and oversee crew safety and loading/unloading operations at the Annapolis Junction facility. The role emphasizes ensuring damage-free handling and adherence to CSX safety standards.

The candidate will supervise daily activities, manage shift coverage, and coordinate with office staff to resolve issues, while supporting maintenance and training programs for personnel and contractors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in Transportation, Logistics, or Rail Operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Terminal Manager in all terminal functions and coverage.
• Supervise crew; ensure loading/unloading is done safely and damage-free.
• Oversee safety PPE, attendance checks, and task assignments (doors, bridge plates, etc.).
• Maintain communication with office staff and management about issues.
• Perform maintenance checks on ramps and shuttle vehicles.
• Coordinate staffing levels and shift schedules with Terminal Manager.
• Provide training for new hires and ongoing training for staff and contractors.
• Inform all CSX intermodal departments of terminal needs and updates.
