Job summary

Responsibilities include monitoring capacity, managing customer orders, performing regular reporting (P&L, revenue share, load counts), negotiating capacity for new lanes, and developing contingency plans to handle peak periods.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of applicable federal/state regulations and DOT regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel reporting functions and MS Office.
• Experience in transportation management and P&L reporting.
• Ability to develop action plans and ensure accountability.
• Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Building a positive atmosphere by challenging others to achieve optimal business results.
• Monitoring balance, capacity, and demand of loads and trucks.
• Customer order management and monitoring outbound freight volume.
• Questioning inconsistencies as they arise and developing contingency plans.
• Assisting with rate negotiations for unplanned new lanes and volume.
• Regular and ad-hoc reporting (P&L, revenue share, load counts, etc.).
