Job summary

REMPREX, Inc. in Haslet, TX, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on intermodal equipment in an outdoor, fast-paced environment. The role requires reading electrical and hydraulic schematics, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety standards are met.

You will maintain equipment records, assist with training, and be willing to work after hours. A valid driver's license and own basic tools are required, with on-site work during shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment (forklifts, lifts, etc.).
• Ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics and OEM manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Repair and maintain heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems and components as required.
• Maintain accurate records and inspections per OEM specs.
• Respond to customer equipment requests and ensure safety compliance.
• Assist in training co-workers and cross-train as needed.
• Cross-department collaboration and adherence to policies.
