Qualifications

• Able to work now and in the future without sponsorship in obtaining employment authorization in the US.
• Able to work in the US without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Read, write and communicate in English.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to work full-time (40 hrs/wk) subject to overtime, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Able to visually distinguish colors and hear and distinguish signals with training.
• Able to input data accurately in computer systems.
• Able to work on uneven surfaces and frequently climb on/off equipment.
• Able to work around loud noises, fumes and heavy/moving machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment: cranes, side-loaders, forklifts, hostler trucks.
• Ground Support Workers assist Crane/Lift Operators with loading/unloading railcars and chassis.
• Hostler Truck Operators operate heavy trucks in the yard and manage railcar spotting.
• Crane/Lift Equipment Operators lift trailers and containers weighing up to 65,000 lbs on/off railcars.
• Daily work occurs in a safety-sensitive environment with varied weather and noise conditions.
