Job summary

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Certificate or Degree related to Mechanical, Maintenance, or Engineering.
• Strong mechanical background with practical maintenance experience.
• Journeyman certification desirable for road or off-road equipment.
• Minimum five years of maintenance supervision experience required.
• Basic English communication; Spanish understanding a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all intermodal equipment maintenance and repair activities.
• Plan, organize, and lead maintenance team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure safety guidelines and compliance with railroad, IEP, FMCSA, and manufacturer standards.
• Process and audit maintenance invoices; manage contractor coordination.
• Maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime through preventive maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, contractors, and CPR personnel.
