Job summary

U.S. Multimodal Group is seeking a proficient Dispatcher for Harbor Division, onsite in Rancho Dominguez, CA. You will coordinate freight movement, dispatch drivers, and maintain clear communication with customers to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years port drayage experience, knowledge of the LA/LB ports, and proficiency with Profit Tools and MS Office in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years port drayage experience and knowledge of the Port of LA/LB and terminal websites.
• Understanding of local Southern California roads and freeways.
• Proficient with Transportation Management Systems and MS Word/Excel/Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers according to customer requests and needs.
• Communicate proactively with drivers, customers, and stakeholders about updates and issues.
• Maintain records of dispatch activities, driver logs, and shipments.
