Job summary

EmergencyMD in New Brighton, MN seeks an Intermodal Dispatcher to support daily scheduling, data entry, order tracking and driver coordination. You will communicate with customers and drivers to prevent delays, while maintaining accurate records in a collaborative, growth‑minded team.

A 2‑year degree is required with Bachelor’s preferred; strong MS Office skills and clear written/verbal communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily intermodal schedule for New Brighton, MN facility
• Data entry and track all orders
• Schedule appointments for imports/exports
• Driver paperwork coordination
• Customer communication
• Identify and solve problems before service failures
• Timely clerical duties to ensure complete records
• Chassis pickup/drop locations
• Other duties as assigned

Intermodal Dispatcher - Responsibilities

• Manage daily intermodal schedule for Big Blue Boxes in our New Brighton, MN facility
• Data entry
• Track all orders
• Schedule appointments for imports/exports
• Driver paperwork
• Customer communication
• Problem solving before issues result in service failures
• Timely clerical responsibilities to ensure completeness of job
• Chassis pickup and drop locations
• Other job duties as assigned

Intermodal Dispatcher - Education and Experience Required

• 2 year degree, Bachelor’s preferred
• Transportation/Management experience or will train the right candidate

Intermodal Dispatcher - Knowledge and Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Computerized dispatch and record keeping
• Willingness to adapt to ever changing customer requirements
