Responsibilities

• Operate cutting torches, grinders and fabrication equipment.
• Position materials using jigs, fixtures, measuring tools, and hand tools.
• Follow Welding Procedure Specifications and parameters.
• Support safety initiatives, production goals, and process improvement.
• Operate forklifts occasionally and maintain a clean work area.

Broken Arrow, OK: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an experienced Intermediate Vessel Welder to execute fabrication projects in accordance with established welding procedures. This position requires a safety-focused professional with experience in pressure vessel fabrication, blueprint reading, and producing high-quality welds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, quality-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.

Essential Duties:

• Perform metal core MIG and flux core welding on vessel fabrication projects.
• Produce quality welds that meet X-ray and ultrasound inspection standards with minimal rework.
• Read and interpret blueprints and fit up pipe, flanges, and vessel components with minimal supervision.
• Weld brackets, braces, structural components, and code materials as required.
• Operate flame and plasma cutting torches, grinders, and other fabrication equipment.
• Position materials using jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments, and hand tools.
• Operate basic cutting equipment and other shop machinery.
• Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and required welding parameters.
• Support safety initiatives, production goals, and continuous process improvement.
• Operate forklifts on an occasional basis and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with vessel fabrication required.
• Proficient in metal core MIG and flux core welding processes.
• Ability to pass required welding tests and applicable non-destructive examinations (NDE).
• Experience reading blueprints and fabricating pipe, flanges, and structural components.
• Knowledge of various pipe sizes, structural steel, and vessel materials.
• Welding certification required.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to HSE guidelines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Frequently inspect equipment and climb stairs or ladders while maintaining balance.
• Occasionally bend, squat, stoop, twist, reach, and climb.
• Regularly operate welding equipment and other heavy fabrication tools.
• Ability to work in both hot and cold weather conditions.
