Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Intermediate Level Project Controls Professional to support the East Central region in the U.S. You will input data, review and analyze defined cost and schedule elements, and produce timely documentation as part of a larger team.

The role offers a hybrid model with two days per week in an assigned Jacobs office near you. A BS/BA in Cost Management, Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, or Finance is preferred, with 3–5 years of Project Controls experience.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in Cost Management, Engineering, Project Management, Accounting or Finance.
• Three to five years’ experience in Project Controls or Project Accountant related functions.
• Strong knowledge of Excel is required.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to interface with all levels of personnel and management.
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare data for evaluation.
• Monitor, track, analyze, forecast, and report on project budgets and schedules.
• Review expenditure details and correct charges.
• Coordinate projects from conception through final plans.
• Provide support for project pricing and monthly/quarterly reviews.
• Print and distribute technical and administrative reports.
• Perform risk analysis on cost and schedule and advise on contingencies.
• Support Project Managers with monthly PRs and forecasts.
