Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. seeks a Project Controls Professional to join our Western U.S. team.

The role reports to the Phoenix, AZ or Portland, OR offices and supports the Electronics group with weekly financial updates, budgets, and monthly reviews. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project controls within engineering consultancies, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with EcoSys/IPCS. Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in the engineering consulting industry as a project controls professional setting up projects, managing budgets and schedules, and monitoring subcontracts.
An understanding of accounting fundamentals and practices.
Computer skills including Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
Aptitude to learn and adapt to new processes and tools.
Ability to solve a range of basic problems and analyze possible solutions.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Provide weekly financial updates and prepare for monthly project reviews.
Monitor budgets against actual costs and forecasts to ensure accurate cost tracking.
Support project controls team with cost reporting and variance analysis.
Assist in all phases of home office engineering and contract management as needed.
