Job summary

MITRE is seeking an Intermediate Network Engineer to contribute to mission-driven projects in the Enterprise and Tactical Networking department. The role involves prototyping intelligent network capabilities in MITRE labs, collaborating on research teams, and evaluating current and emerging technologies.

You will conduct data science work from data wrangling to reporting, and scale solutions for large enterprises and datasets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 2–5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• Must be eligible for Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop prototypes of intelligent network capabilities in MITRE labs.
• Collaborate on research teams to create innovative network solutions.
• Perform performance assessments of current and emerging technologies.
• Conduct data science work from wrangling to reporting and visualization.
• Scale solutions for large enterprises and datasets.
