Job summary

Munters is seeking an Intermediate Field Controls Technician to support advanced cooling systems at customer sites across the U.S. This role involves extensive travel (up to 75%) to troubleshoot HVAC and controls issues and provide on-site and remote support to Field Service Technicians.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical problems, read diagrams, and contribute to product development and Kaizen initiatives while collaborating with Engineering and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of industry experience or relevant trade school/certification.
• Experience troubleshooting HVAC equipment and controls systems.
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer jobsites—up to 75% on average—to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC and controls issues.
• Provide technical support to Field Service Technicians onsite and remotely.
• Troubleshoot controls programs, HMI systems, and unit/system interfaces.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects.
