Job summary

Munters Corporation in Daleville, VA is seeking a Field Controls Technician to troubleshoot HVAC and controls at customer sites. Travel required, provide remote and onsite support to Field Service Technicians, and collaborate with Engineering and R&D on prototypes.

You'll work with HMI and control systems, assist with product tests, Kaizen projects, and improvements, while delivering technical expertise across internal teams in a dynamic data-center cooling environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industry experience in HVAC controls.
• Mechanical Engineering degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience troubleshooting HVAC equipment and controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC or controls issues.
• Provide technical support to Field Service Technicians remotely and onsite.
• Troubleshoot controls programs, HMI systems, and unit interfaces.
• Support new product development and testing at Munters facilities.
• Assist with prototype builds and provide feedback to Engineering/R&D.
• Participate in Kaizen and cross-functional improvement projects.
• Provide technical expertise to Field Service and other internal teams.
• Work independently while collaborating with Engineering, R&D, Service, and Operations.
