Naval Systems, Inc. in Lexington Park, MD, is seeking an Intermediate Cost Analyst/Engineer to support the NAVAIR Cost & Schedule Analyst Program.

You will work with engineers and logisticians to formulate system cost estimates for training systems and ranges, and perform detailed cost analysis of large contractor proposals. Responsibilities include creating MIL-STD-881 compliant cost models, updating existing models, and providing total cost support to the Government customer, including budget

Job Description

NSI requires an Intermediate Cost Analyst/Engineer to support the NAVAIR Cost & Schedule Analyst Program. Operate as part of an integrated product team working closely with engineers and logisticians to formulate a system cost estimate to be used in developing, delivering and sustaining training systems and training ranges. Perform detailed cost analysis of large contractor proposals. Create MIL-STD-881 compliant cost models and be able to analyze and understand existing cost models to incorporate updates. Provide total cost support to the Government customer including budget drills and any other cost modeling as required.

Skills

• Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge and experience with Excel.
• Must be extremely proficient with Excel including regression, pivot tables, and complex functions and references.
• Any VBA coding experience and Risk Simulation software (@RISK) would be desirable.

Certification

CCEA or PCEA certification is desired but not required.

Location

Lexington Park, MD

Education

Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering or similar field.

Experience

3-10 years of Operations research or Cost Analysis in DoD or related experience.

Security Clearance

Ability to obtain a Secret DOD clearance required. Must be U.S. citizen.
