Job summary

Destination by Hyatt in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Intermediate Cook/Cafeteria Attendant to prepare and maintain a multi-item hot and cold lunch menu created by the Executive Chef. Responsibilities include prepping, cooking, displaying in the staff dining room, and maintaining dining room cleanliness.

Previous kitchen or cafeteria experience is preferred, with room to grow into other culinary positions within the hotel.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repetitively lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; shifts 6:30 am–2:30 pm.
• Previous kitchen or cafeteria experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clear dining room daily.
• Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills.
• Keep dining area clean, wipe down tables and counters and refill paper towel dispenser.
• Ensure coffee and soda station is stocked at all times.
