Job summary

Tempe Mission Palms in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Intermediate Cook/Cafeteria Attendant for the Employee Cafeteria. Responsibilities include preparing and displaying a multi-item hot and cold lunch menu, and maintaining dining room cleanliness.

Experience in restaurant kitchens, banquet, or catering is preferred. The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs at times and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is required; cooking in a restaurant kitchen, banquet or catering experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clear dining room daily. Dining room is located up a flight of stairs, so the ability to carry things up and down stairs is required.
• Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills.
• Keep dining area clean, wipe down tables and counters and refill paper towel dispenser.
• Ensure coffee and soda station is stocked at all times.
