Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking an Intermediate Collections Specialist to manage credit and collection activity for a defined customer portfolio to help meet quarterly cash metrics. This hybrid role is based in Andover, MA, offering collaboration within a dynamic accounting team and opportunities to improve processes.

The role requires 2+ years in credit/collections, proficiency in Excel, ERP experience, and a college degree in accounting is preferred.

• Participate in weekly AR Aging reviews
• Actively work to maximize the collection of past-due balances
• Research and resolve any account discrepancies
• Establish & maintain good customer relationships, both internal & external
• Credit evaluations/New customer setup
• Credit hold maintenance/releasing orders
• Process credit cards
• Accessing/learning customer portals for invoicing & collection purposes
• Process Improvement Initiatives to achieve efficiencies and controls
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

In this role as an Intermediate Collections Specialist, the right candidate will be managing the credit/collection activity for a select customer portfolio toassistwith meeting the company's quarterly cash metrics.
