Job summary

BBA Consultants in Lakewood, CO is seeking an Intermediate Civil/Structural Engineer to join our growing U.S. team. You will contribute to multidisciplinary industrial infrastructure projects in the mining, energy, renewable power, industrial, and chemical sectors.

The role offers opportunities to lead design, perform analyses, coordinate with multidisciplinary groups, review calculations and reports, and liaise with clients to ensure successful projects. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with structural focus or Structural Engineering.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure in the applicable U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering.
• Experience in industrial, mining, energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of North American civil/structural design codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the civil and structural design of heavy industrial projects from feasibility studies through detailed engineering and construction support.
• Perform engineering analysis and design for civil and structural systems per U.S. codes and standards.
• Design and review concrete foundations, structural steel, and equipment support structures.
• Coordinate engineering activities with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Prepare calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction packages.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorshipto junior engineers, designers, and drafters

• Manage assigned project tasks, schedules,budgets, and technical deliverables to support successful projectexecution
• Participate in project planning, scopedefinition, cost estimating, scheduling, and resource coordination
• Interface directly with clients toclarify technical requirements, present engineering solutions, and supportproject delivery discussions
• Support construction through fieldreviews, site visits, technical issue resolution, and contractorcoordination
• Contribute to continuous improvement,engineering best practices, and technical innovation
