NDNY Architecture + Design is an award-winning, NYC-based architecture practice specializing in residential, commercial, hospitality, and public-sector projects. Our work spans new construction, adaptive reuse, renovations, and interior architecture, with an emphasis on thoughtful design and technical excellence.
Recognized by The Architect's Newspaper as a 2025 Best of Practice – Small Firm (Northeast), we are a collaborative, design-focused studio seeking a talented and motivated Intermediate Architect / Architectural Designer to join our growing team.
We are looking for someone who enjoys both the creative and technical aspects of architecture and is eager to take ownership of projects from design through construction. Working closely with the firm's partners, you will contribute meaningfully to design decisions, interact directly with clients, and develop your project-management skills.
Experience with NYC residential renovations, commercial interiors, or adaptive reuse projects is a plus.
At NDNY, you'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects—from private residences and commercial interiors to restaurants, and public-sector buildings—gaining hands‑on experience across different building types and all phases of design and construction. As part of a small, collaborative studio, you'll work directly with experienced partners, contribute to meaningful design decisions, and take on increasing responsibility as you grow professionally. We value creativity, initiative, and a supportive studio culture that emphasizes flexibility, reasonable working hours, and a healthy work-life balance.
This is a full-time, NYC-based position with regular in-studio collaboration. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
