Job summary

Responsibilities

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

• Gather, interpret and compile data to complete a variety of financial reports.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and the state's financial system data warehouse to complete reports.
• Comprehend and keep up-to-date on state and federal reporting requirements.
• Process complex Federal Financial Reports and expenditure reports for the department
• Help the bureau modenerization team with design, implementation, and maintenance of Smartsheet tools
• Primary contact for SIF
• Faciliate process improvements and transition to new state financial system
• Identify issues, evaluate options and recommend solutions
• Review work for accuracy and retain necessary documentation to support reports.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office. Proficient with Access databases preferred.
• Highly organized, proactive and possess strong analytical skills.
• Be accountable for themselves and to the team.
• Ability to multi-task, manage time, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exercise significant independence, judgment, and initiative in the performance of their duties.
