Job Description Summary

Provide outstanding customer service with daily retirement plan administration by responding to inquiries, researching, and providing resolutions to customers. Partner with Client Executives and internal teams to enhance customer relationships and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  1. Support daily administration of retirement plans, identifying customer expectations and building strong relationships.
  2. Research issues and negotiate resolutions in collaboration with managers.
  3. Foster proactive relationships with clients, financial professionals, and internal teams to ensure retention, growth, and profitability.
  4. Provide accurate, timely, and quality information exceeding metrics.
  5. Identify and communicate potential improvements to management.
  6. Work with internal partners to address client needs, develop action plans, and offer solutions for client retention and issue resolution.
  7. Maintain knowledge of recordkeeping, outsourcing, and processing capabilities.
  8. Attend training to gain knowledge of various retirement plan designs and requirements.
  9. Gather and interpret data from multiple systems to troubleshoot and resolve problems with minimal supervision.
  10. Lead or assist in client meetings, face-to-face or virtual.
  11. Mentor new account managers as needed.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  2. At least three years of customer relationship experience, including one year in retirement or financial services.
  3. Knowledge of retirement plan administration.
  4. Strong relationship management and communication skills, both oral and written.
  5. Effective presentation, influence, and negotiation skills.
  6. Alignment with Transamerica’s Future Fit Culture: Acting as One, Accountability, Agility, Customer Centricity.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. ASPPA designations (e.g., RPF, QKA) and/or related certifications.
  2. Knowledge of internal systems (P3, Workplace Platform, AQT, etc.) and Salesforce.

Working Conditions

  1. Office environment.
  2. Up to 10% travel for client meetings and presentations.

Compensation

Salary range: $50,000 - $58,000, based on qualifications and operational needs. Variations may occur as permitted by law.

Bonus Eligibility

Eligible for annual bonus based on performance and company discretion.
