Job summary

CU Boulder is seeking an Interlibrary Loan Technician to support the Libraries' interlibrary loan and document delivery services. The role handles daily ILL requests, searches catalogs and discovery tools, and collaborates with CU staff to ensure timely processing of materials for patrons and libraries alike.

The position is on-site in Boulder, CO, with a schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00. Two years of related experience, physical ability to lift 30 lbs, and strong communication skills are

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be a current resident of Colorado to apply.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Familiarity with interlibrary loan systems (ILLIad) and document delivery processes.
• Experience with scanning equipment and office software (Excel, Google Sheets) would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Processes article requests for ILL Lending/Borrowing and Document Delivery with accuracy and timeliness.
• Manages physical items for loan and delivery, including offsite storage logistics and heavy items.
• Supervises student employees and coordinates work with the Operations Manager.
• Supports Resource Sharing initiatives and collaborates with the Resource Sharing Section.
