Job summary

DCAS’s Workplace Services unit seeks an Interiors Project Manager/Space Analyst Level II to lead space planning and interior design efforts for City agencies. You will coordinate furniture systems and IT/AV, review construction docs, and help shape space standards across City facilities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with architectural staff and external consultants, ensuring designs meet functional and accessibility requirements while aligning with budget and schedule constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, interior architecture, architecture or related field.
• Strong knowledge of space planning and interior design standards for corporate/government interiors.
• Familiarity with ADA codes, WELL accreditation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in programming agency needs in line with DCAS space standards.
• Develop space planning and test fits for projects.
• Coordinate furniture systems and IT/AV coordination.
• Review project scopes and construction docs for compliance.
• Maintain departmental planning and design standards.
• Support budget review, procurement, and lease language review.
