IA Interior Architects in Washington, DC is seeking a Project Manager for our DC Studio to lead client relationships, manage complex interiors projects, and ensure design excellence from concept through delivery.

You will coordinate design and production teams, oversee budgets, schedules, risk management, and contract administration, while advancing BIM standards and sustainable practices across diverse government and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of design project experience, with 5+ years in project management.
• Licensed Architect or Interior Designer; registration required.
• Federal security clearance preferred, eligibility required.
• Experience with interior architecture and commercial interiors.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships from assessment through project delivery.
• Manage multiple projects across commercial interiors and government sectors.
• Prepare fee proposals and negotiate contracts; manage consultants.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Coordinate design teams and produce contract documents.
• Ensure compliance with firm standards and ADA requirements.
• Lead BIM standards and digital collaboration; mentor staff.
• Support business development and marketing efforts.
• Provide staff direction and develop skills.
