Job summary

The City of New York’s Department of Citywide Administrative Services seeks an Interiors Project Manager/Space Analyst - Level 2 to join the Workplace Services team. The role focuses on space planning, design, and interior office space assessment to maximize use of space while meeting operational requirements.

The incumbent will assist leadership, develop test fits, coordinate furniture and IT/AV systems, review scopes, and maintain design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of space evaluation experience or
• High school diploma with five years of space evaluation experience; both paths require knowledge of space in office/buildings.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Workplace Services in planning and guiding architectural staff.
• Develop space planning and test fits for agency needs.
• Coordinate furniture and IT/AV systems; plan coordination.
• Review project Scope of Work and construction docs as required.
• Maintain departmental planning and design standards; perform admin duties.
