Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering.
3–5 years of engineering experience with instrument panel design.
Knowledge of GD&T, FMVSS regulations, and airbag packaging requirements.
Proficiency in NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks and PLM (Teamcenter).
Experience leading suppliers and managing cross-functional deliverables.
Strong analytical, communication, and issue-resolution skills.
Responsibilities
Lead supplier design reviews to ensure instrument panel systems meet specifications.
Develop DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, boundary diagrams, and interface matrices.
Support integration of components within the instrument panel.
Manage CAD model and drawing integrity.
Support physical validation and resolve issues through structured problem-solving.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, ergonomic, and safety standards.
Track program deliverables, communicating progress to teams.
Apply best practices and lessons learned from previous developments.
