Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience with instrument panel design.
• Knowledge of GD&T, FMVSS regulations, and airbag packaging requirements.
• Proficiency in NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks and PLM (Teamcenter).
• Experience leading suppliers and managing cross-functional deliverables.
• Strong analytical, communication, and issue-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier design reviews to ensure instrument panel systems meet specifications.
• Develop DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, boundary diagrams, and interface matrices.
• Support integration of components within the instrument panel.
• Manage CAD model and drawing integrity.
• Support physical validation and resolve issues through structured problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, ergonomic, and safety standards.
• Track program deliverables, communicating progress to teams.
• Apply best practices and lessons learned from previous developments.
