PDS Tech, Inc. is hiring an Interior Installation Technician in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on removing, installing, and fabricating aircraft interior components to meet quality and safety standards.

You will work under supervision to ensure all work orders and procedures are correctly followed. Ideal candidates have installation or fabrication experience, read English fluently, and can lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interior components such as galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and vanity ledge fill panels.
• Complete fit and installation tasks according to work-order instructions and specifications.
• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with FAA documentation and quality specifications.
• Use the material tracking system to create parts demands, track squawks, and complete required paperwork.
• Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment including hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders, and brakes.
• Follow safety, 5S, housekeeping, and PPE requirements and address unsafe conditions.
• Support aircraft certification and final-phase testing, including flight tests as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role

Interior Installation Technician, you’ll work under close supervision to remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interior components. Your work will directly support the completion and quality of aircraft interiors, ensuring every installation meets work-order requirements, company procedures, and applicable aviation standards.

What You’ll Do

• Safely remove, install, and/or fabricate aircraft interior components, including:
  • Galleys
  • Closets
  • Lavatories
  • Side ledges
  • Bulkheads
  • Doors
  • Vanity ledge fill panels
• Complete fit and installation tasks according to work-order instructions, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, FAA documentation requirements, sign-offs, and quality specifications.
• Use the material tracking system to create parts demands, track squawks, and complete required paperwork.
• Safely operate and properly maintain tools and equipment, including:
  • Hand tools
  • Band saws
  • Shears
  • Sanders
  • Brakes
• Properly care for shop equipment and tools.
• Follow all safety, 5S, housekeeping, and PPE requirements.
• Identify and address unsafe conditions before they create a risk to people or property.
• Support aircraft certification and final-phase testing, which may include flight tests as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience using hand tools and fabrication equipment.
• Familiarity with 5S, quality procedures, and regulated work environments.

Pay Details: $24.50 per hour
