Job summary

Eastern Kentucky University seeks an Interior Finisher II for the Richmond Campus to perform initial construction and repairs of floors, walls, and ceilings using materials such as ceramic, plaster, drywall, paint, caulk, VCT, LVT, and carpet. Work with the Craft Foreman and Structural Supervisor to complete tasks safely and on time.

Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination; valid state driver's license.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 3 years or an equivalent combination of education experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Licensure & Certifications: Requires a validstate driver's license.

Responsibilities

• 80% - Performs the planning, installation, maintenance, and repair of finish surfaces of all University facilities. -(Essential)
• 15% - Maintains records of time, materials, and resources according to established procedures and as directed -(Essential)
• 5% - Supports the smooth and efficient operations of the department and the University - (Essential)
